The Hamlet Centre, Children’s Service’s in Johnson Place (at the top of Grapes Hill), each Saturday & Sunday before Christmas, 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm.
Father Christmas’ workshop is wheelchair accessible and open to all. Children are invited to meet the big man himself, have a photograph taken, write, decorate and post their Christmas letters and even listen to a story with one of the elves. A visit costs £5 per child, which includes a gift and a photograph – all proceeds go to the Hamlet Centre Trust charity.
SILENT NIGHT CAROL EVENT

Community Groups and Churches in Attleborough are coming together to remember the WW1 Christmas Truce by running a Silent Night Carol event.
In 1914 the troops famously stopped fighting on Christmas Day for a game of football and sang Silent Night. In Attleborough a number of groups are involved including Attleborough Brownies, Attleborough Writers Group, Attleborough Heritage Group, local Churches and a music group from Wymondham College.
Attleborough Heritage Group are displaying around the hall pictures and stories from the era and there will be a range of readings, poems and traditional carols followed by Christmas refreshments.

Hellesdon Community Centre are looking to have a Christmas Day lunch for local Hellesdon residents, individuals or couples, who find themselves alone on Christmas Day and in need of some company.
