This auction is in aid of Nelson's Journey, which is a Norfolk charity supporting children and young people following the death of a significant person in their life.

The auction will run for one week from 6pm 21st November - 8pm 29th November, in the hope to raise LOTS of money for the charity. All items will be posted on the Facebook page and those wanting to bid on an item can place their bid in the comments field. The highest bid wins!

There are some great present ideas for Christmas - including a tour of Radio Norwich 99.9's studios! Happy bidding and thank you for helping support this amazing charity... you are helping to 'bring back smiles to bereaved children'.

Trees can be viewed Thursday 3rd - Sunday 6th (see below)

The Lord Mayor of Norwich will switch on the lights of over thirty Christmas trees in St Peter Mancroft Church, Norwich.

The trees will have been purchased and decorated by local business and educational organizations with a view to raising funds for local charities. Those benefitting will be Sistema in Norwich and the Care4Clare School project.

The Christmas Tree Festival is being jointly organised by St Peter Mancroft Church and the Rotary Club of Norwich St Edmund.
A large Memorial Tree will also be erected in the Church. This “Tree of Memories” will provide an opportunity for members of the public to make a dedication in memory of a loved one during the Festival and the weeks before Christmas.

The decorated Christmas Trees can be enjoyed by the public during the following periods:

Wymondham based Pippa Gregory is turning Rosy Lee's tea room in Loddon into a Christmas cafe to raise funds for her forthcoming volunteering experience in India.

Pippa says: "We will be serving some homemade Christmas goodies, from mince pies to Mummy Gregory’s delicious sausage rolls to raise money for my upcoming voluntary work in the Madhya Pradesh region of India.

"From February - May 2016 I will be working to help disadvantaged children connect with their community and tackle social issues such as civic youth participation, the gender divide, health and education. The money raised will go towards my participation in the program, so pop along to find out more about the project, for some delightful festivities and a chance to enter our raffle! All donations are welcome and we encourage you to bring the family!"
