Scientists in Norwich are swapping their labs for the stage this November, as they put on a musical extravaganza to raise funds for Big C. Talented scientists and staff from across the Norwich Research Park are coming together to stage a one night only extravaganza of music for all tastes.

The concert is being staged by the Institute of Food Research (IFR), and will involve singers and musicians working in other institutes on the Norwich Research Park. The programme will include pop, jazz, folk, classical and show tunes, and will also be the first performance of the newly formed Norwich Research Park choir, and the NRP string quartet.

The choir only met for this first time in September, and are practicing together every Thursday evening, so that they can hit the right notes on the big night.
