Norwich Breakfast with Steve Bradley

Join me weekday mornings from 6 as I wake up the city.

I'll have all the stories you'll want to share with your friends at work and all the useful stuff like travel news and weather.

If money ticks your boxes, then make sure you're listening at 7.30 each morning for our Mystery Voice!

I do like to 'network' on Facebook and Twitter so do please 'like' Norwich 99.9 on Facebook and follow me on Twitter too, it's @stevebradley999

If like me you're a Norwich City fan then don't miss your chance to win tickets just ahead of each game in the Premier League season ... once you're in the ground, keep an ear out as I am the Pitch Announcer at Carrow Road so you'll hear me booming out from all corners of the ground!

After 9 each morning I'll start your work day with the Norwich 99.9 Rewind; 5 songs from 1 mystery year ... but can you work it out from the songs and clues?

Steve's mini blog ...

The Grapes Hill Community Garden group are hosting a ‘History of Norwich in photos’ event on 16th March … there’ll be lots of pictures of our fine city through the years … if you’ve got one you think they should know about get in touch with them via their website

The Mischief pub in Norwich is offering a £1,000 prize to find the best design for a new sign.  The old sign was knocked off by a bus last year - For more details, email: pubmischief@gmail.com

A local football team needs your help!  The team were sponsored by the Earlham Arms and headed back to the pub after their games for a post-match drink! Sadly now the pub has closed, the team is home-less … if you know a pub that would like a team contact Matt Colley via email: matcolo@gmail.com

Fancy a bird’s eye view of the city? And a bit of an adrenaline rush too … E.A.C.H are looking for people to take part in their charity abseil on March 11th … it’s down the 150 foot Norfolk Tower on Surrey Street – interested? Click here or call 01953 715559

Imagine being elderly and lonely … not a nice thought is it?  There’s a group in Norwich called ‘Contact the Elderly’ who take the elderly out for nice days out to socialise with others … however they need more volunteer helpers to avoid having to close down – if you can spare some time, please call 01279 417264 or email linda.braeburn@contact-the-elderly.org.uk

Don't forget if you have something going on and you'd like it adding to my blog, get in touch.
