Steve answers your questions...
What would be your idea of a perfect day?
The sun shining; a cold pint of Stella and perhaps a round of golf with my friends! Either that or cruising on the Broads on the big sporty boat I plan to buy when I eventually win the lottery! On a more personal note, any day spent with my wonderful daughter is pretty perfect
What would be a nightmare day?
Spending the day with dull, moaning, grumpy and stressful people
What 3 words best sum you up?
Fun, caring and sensitive
What's the best thing about being a Dad?
The hugs and kisses and being loved unconditionally! I'd really like a couple more kids soon... (can you tell I'm really just a big softie)?
What makes you laugh?
Only Fools and Horses - I could watch that all day, I love it. Also Lee Evans and The Friday Night Project make me chuckle
What's the latest film you watched?
I don't generally watch many films as I get bored very easily watching tv. I do have to sit through High School Musical 1 and 2 most weekends with my daughter Emily, although secretly I quite like them really! As far as DVD's go, my favourite is Crocodile Dundee - I know, it's a bit sad but I like that sort of film
Do you go to the gym?
Yep! The gym is my second home! I love the feeling of being fit and healthy. I also play football every week for The Jubilee pub team and enjoy jogging and canoeing around Whittlingham Broad and the Wensum a fair bit
Are you really a black belt or did you make that up to impress people?
Ha! Very funny, I didn't realise it was that impressive. Yes, I got my First Dan in ITF TaeKwon-do about 7 years ago and my Second Dan a few years after that
What other achievements have you had?
Not too many really! I once came 3rd in a painting competition when I was 8. Oh and I was overtaken by a one legged man when I ran the London Marathon back in 1999 ... he was my inspiration to keep going (true story)
Would you prefer a cosy night in or a wild night out?
Call me boring, but definitely a cosy night in
What car do you drive?
I wish I could say a Porsche or something sexy like that but no such luck! I've got one of the new Honda Civics - it's pretty cool
What is in your CD player at home at the moment?
I haven't used my CD player for ages ... it's all ipods nowadays! I like to listen to all sorts depending on my mood
What would you do if you didn't do radio?
I've always had a secret desire to be a police officer or a fireman! I'm also really interested in property so being a property developer is my long term plan
What would you change about yourself if you could?
I'd like to be a couple of inches taller! And perhaps a bit more patient at times
Do you watch reality telly?
I try not to! That said though I do like the X-factor. I try to steer clear of Big Brother but normally end up getting hooked!
Where do you go on holiday?
I'm really lucky that my parents have a nice holiday home near Marbella in Spain so I go there! At the moment they're also having a lovely house built in Cyprus too so once that's finished I'll alternate
Did you grow up locally?
No. I was born in Scotland and lived there until I was about 6. I then moved about a bit as my dad flew with the RAF. I went to boarding school near Nottingham for 7 years before returning to Norfolk about 11 years ago
Are you a Canaries fan?
Absolutely! I have a season ticket for both me and my daughter and love the buzz of match day. I don't use my tickets these days as I've recently taken on the role of 'pitch announcer' at the ground on match days. It's great fun and I get to access all areas! Recently my dream came true when I was invited to play in a 'celebrity' game at the Norwich City open day. The picture is below but how many ex-Canary stars can you spot? (there are 6 dotted around)!
